The NVRRWP is a collaborative partnership that includes the
Cities of Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, the Del Puerto Water District, and Stanislaus County.
The NVRRWP is progressing as planned. On January 9, 2015 the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) issued a Draft Environmental Impact Statement/ Environmental Impact Report. The culmination of this effort was preceded by the USBR’s commitment to a portion of the funding of the Phase 1 Feasibility Study, which was completed in 2013. This study confirmed the NVRRWP stakeholder objectives and laid the groundwork for the project.
The NVRRWP and the USBR held a public meeting on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 to solicit comments on the draft EIS/EIR. A link to the report can be found on the documents tab at www.nvr-recycledwater.org. The list below highlights some recent activities:
